Southampton and West Bromwich Albion will face off in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final on Saturday, May 14th. The first leg at The Hawthorns ended 0-0, leaving everything to play for at St Mary's.
Southampton will be looking to take advantage of home advantage and book their place in the final at Wembley. The Saints have been in good form in recent weeks, winning their last three games in all competitions. They will be confident of getting the job done against West Brom, who have not won in their last four matches.
West Brom will need to produce a much better performance if they are to progress to the final. The Baggies were disappointing in the first leg and will need to be much more creative in attack if they are to trouble the Southampton defence.
The match is sure to be a close and entertaining affair. Southampton will be the slight favourites, but West Brom have the quality to cause an upset. The winner will face either Nottingham Forest or Sheffield United in the final at Wembley on May 29th.
