In a highly anticipated matchup between two of the NBA's top teams, the Boston Celtics extended their NBA Finals lead to a commanding 3-0 after a hard-fought 106-98 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3.

Leading the charge for Boston was Jason Tatum, who exploded for a game-high 30 points on an efficient 11-of-18 shooting. The All-Star forward also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out four assists, leading the Celtics' balanced scoring attack.

The Celtics dominated the boards throughout the game, outrebounding the Mavericks 52-35. Al Horford, who missed Game 2 with an injury, returned to the lineup and had a strong performance with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Robert Williams III added 11 rebounds and three blocks.
